The Boring Bits....

Terms of business - For the Client:

All parties agree that once a booking has been undertaken at a venue through Lolly & Lala's Entertainment Agency, all future bookings, following the introduction to both the venue and the client, must be made through the aforementioned agency for a period of 24 months. If said client has more than one venue or place of business, the agreement extends to all locations, not just the venue through which the initial introduction has been made, without exception. Both the venue and client are bound by this contractual obligation from the time of the initial agreement.

All contact between the client and/or venue and the act provided by the agency must be made through the agency. No personal contact information should be exchanged between the act and the client under any circumstances.

All bookings require a non-discretionary, non-refundable deposit agreed upon booking, which commences the agreement and terms of business.

Any cancellations made within 28 days of the booked event, the full fee will be required. If an act is unable to attend the agreed event, the agency will provide an equivalent substitute act wherever possible.

The client must provide and/or arrange with the venue power supply and 2m x 2m space, where applicable. If the client fails to provide power to an act requiring power, the act will still be entitled to the full fee upon arrival to the booked event, even if said lack of power prohibits the fulfilment of the act.

Following the agreement between client/venue and agency, the agency will instruct the act. The act is not obliged to work outside of the agreement, so should the client/venue require/desire further time from the act at the booked event, this will incur additional charges.

Terms of business - For the Act:

All contact between the client and/or venue and the act provided by the agency must be made through the agency. No personal contact information should be exchanged between the act and the client under any circumstances.

The act should not sing within a 3 mile radius of a venue. If found so, this is breach of contract and could result in a cancellation of all future gigs with the agency even within the 28 days cancellation notice period.

Force Majeure: Should the venue close due to unforeseen circumstance or Health & Safety risks within 28 days notice, The Agency will provide the act with an alternative performance date.

Cancellations by the client- any cancellation made by the client within 28 days of the booked event, the act is entitled to the full fee except for Force Majeure (please see above). Outside of these boundaries (29+ days prior to the booked event), the agency will endeavour to seek equivalent substitute work for the act, however there is no legal nor financial obligation.

Cancellations by the act - any cancellation made by the act within 28 days of the booked event, the agency will recover compensation and damages from the act, with the exception of bookings for the month of December and any wedding bookings, which serve a 3 month notice period. The agency reserves the right to prosecute the act for failing to meet these terms and conditions.

For the client - if such a situation should occur, the agency will endeavour to supply a like for like act for the booked event.
